AT&T Sponsorship Gives Tech Ranch Companies a Boost
AUSTIN, Texas – Tech Ranch Austin and AT&T*announce a ground-breaking agreement to share information and work together. Both companies have committed to find opportunities to pair innovative technologies emerging from Tech Ranch Austin startups with AT&T’s resources, which include cutting-edge research, advanced technology and global mentorships.
AT&T will sponsor several public Tech Ranch Austin events over the next year, including three “lunch and learn” sessions and evening Campfire meetings.
According to Joe Gilson, founder of AnalyzIt (www.analyzit.com), a Tech Ranch Austin startup, the AT&T partnership can’t be matched. It provides him an opportunity to talk with potential customers for his online dashboard that manages fleet equipment maintenance and repair records.
“Like many small companies, I think I have a great idea and the right technology,” Gilson said. “This sponsorship gives me an opportunity that I wouldn’t otherwise have. It opens a huge door for me. Just talking with AT&T experts helps me understand the unique needs of big and small customers alike.”
Tech Ranch Austin was founded in 2008 by two entrepreneurs to make it easier for the next group of Austin-based entrepreneurs to share critical knowledge, network, and help shape ideas into commercial offerings. To date, more than 300 entrepreneurs in software, hardware, alternative energy and emerging technologies have participated in Tech Ranch Austin programs.
