Session A of Alumni Round Up: Angel Funding
Learn first hand about the strategies, tactics and insights that will help you successfully secure angel funding in Texas. Raising angel funding is all about traction, presentation and building strong relationships with all stakeholders. Knowing how to navigate this fluid process is key to finding the right money at the right time.
The seminar is presented by Venture Forth® graduate, and Tech Ranch® mentor, Graham McFarland. Graham is a practicing entrepreneur, knee deep in his fifth start-up. He just recently closed a $500k angel round for his latest venture Cinegif. He has successfully built, funded and exited multiple companies ranging from $10K in sales to over $10M in sales. He has also experienced a few failures as part of his journey. He has raised over $12M in funding for his companies from friends, family, banks, angels, VC’s and strategic partners.

Session B of Alumni Round Up: High-Stakes Negotiations
We have all been in that situation: A very important negotiation, with a high profile VC, important customer or senior leader within the organization is about to happen and you want to emerge victorious from it. You are nervous and excited and frankly a little scared as well. Wouldn’t it be great to have a framework to follow; which would lower your anxiety and make you feel assured? Learn simple techniques to nail the negotiation process every single time.
This workshop is presented by Kumar Anbalagan, an Executive Coach and founder of Coaches Consortium. He has a strong passion for helping entrepreneurs grow their business.
