Dr. Andrew Nerlinger

Dr. Andrew Nerlinger is a Venture Partner with Vesalius Ventures, a Houston-based venture capital company focused on telemedicine and digital health technologies. He guides the company’s international efforts to promote telemedicine in Africa and south Asia, advises portfolio companies, and identifies opportunities for investment in early stage technologies. Dr. Nerlinger is also the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Endura Ventures, a consulting company that provides advisory services to investors in emerging healthcare technologies.

He earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Yale University School of Medicine, completed an internship in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital – St. Raphael Campus, and trained in emergency medicine at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). He holds an undergraduate degree in mathematics and philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and has studied internationally at the University of Sydney (Australia) and University College Dublin. His professional interests include the use of technology in humanitarian crises, including natural disaster relief and infectious disease surveillance and outbreak response.
