Where We’ll Be: Maker Faire Rome 2026
Kevin Koym is in Rome 23 to 25 October 2026 for Maker Faire Rome, The European Edition, attending as a sponsored delegate of the Italian Trade Agency through its Houston office.
Now in its fourteenth edition, Maker Faire Rome is one of the largest applied-innovation events in Europe. It is promoted by the Rome Chamber of Commerce and organized by Innova Camera, its special agency, in collaboration with Regione Lazio. The fair runs at the Gazometro Ostiense, which is the Rome Advanced District: twelve hectares of open-air innovation district where corporations, manufacturers, startups, universities and research institutions sit on the same ground. This year’s areas span electronics and digital fabrication, robotics and artificial intelligence, aerospace and mobility, life sciences and health, agrifood, circular economy and education.
Exhibition hours are 10:00 to 19:00 each day, with last entry at 18:00.
Tech Ranch is there to build the Austin-Italy corridor: meeting the institutions behind the fair, connecting with Italian companies looking toward the U.S. market, and opening paths for Austin founders into Europe.
Background on why this corridor matters: Building the Austin-Italy Corridor.
If you are a founder with European ambitions, or you know someone in Rome worth meeting, get in touch before 21 October.
