About the Speaker:
Drew Scheberle – is the co-founder and managing director of the National Security Innovation Council, a 501(c)(6) designed to ensure Texas is the partner of choice to accelerate national security decision making. NSIC is linking military, security, business, research and economic development partners from El Paso to Texarkana to rapidly solve the nation’s premiere innovation challenges. Prior to the NSIC, Drew supported Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce volunteer executives for 15 years to helped secure critical amenities for the Central Texas eco-system. Drew as well has lead parts of Workforce Solutions’ Master Community Workforce Plan to upskill 10,000 Austinites in poverty through training to placement in jobs paying 200% of the federal poverty rate. Drew will lead us through how to engage from SBIRs to learning how to get an insider’s view into this innovation opportunity.
