Innovating The Vulnerable Out of Harm’s Way: A Community Discussion
Following up on the discussions that we’ve had about how to help refugees, especially Afghanis getting out of harm’s way given the events of the last few weeks, our community is going to have a community discussion going over ideas and bringing different stakeholders together around this issue of refugees, Afghanistan and more generally – immigration.
As we’ve had in the past and what Kevin has said many times – innovation is a social function. What we are doing for this week’s VO Weekly is have several different people who are working with refugees or different types to bring them together to share insights in an open community way. We’ve seen out of these types of conversations before that parties get connected to do business with each other and expect that this will happen this time as well.
