How Can Entrepreneurs Take Care of More Refugees

In this week’s VO weekly, we’re going to explore the essence of Christmas and the story behind it realted to the stories of Refugees all around the world.

Christmas is a refugee story, how can we use technology and startup companies to make these refugee stories happening in the world right now, easier for those who are vulnerable. Shailee Juneja – has been speaking at the UN how technology can be used to support those who are vulnerable including how mental health technologies can be used. She will share perspectives about using tools like in helping refugees in Syria and people who’ve been traumatized in Syria to be able to have access to care and using technology to multiply the effect that that group of people are able to have.  Arda Kertmelioglu on the other hand, originally from Turkey, will share insights on the largest technologies being used to support the largest group of refugees around the world, stationed in one country. Come on out, let’s talk together as a community, to see how we could learnd from these examples and extend them to support other people in the world that have need.
