A delegation of startup founders from Argentina met members of the Tech Ranch team in Austin, Texas to share insights and experiences of entrepreneurship.
The large delegation was led by José Maria Videla Saenz, State Representative and Chair, International Relations, Mercosur and Regional Integration Committee of Mendoza Province. Señor Saenz said: “These talented entrepreneurs have come to the USA from cities from every part of Argentina. They are developing innovative solutions that have value not only in their home country, but internationally too. They are looking to learn from experts in the field of entrepreneurship and technology innovation, and to engage with other organizations to help them grow and bring their solutions to the world.”
Kevin Koym, Founder and CEO of Tech Ranch said: “We were delighted to meet this amazing group of entrepreneurs from Argentina. Tech Ranch’s philosophy is about changing the world through accelerating entrepreneur success. We believe in impact innovation, the development and application of technology solutions to address real human needs. Building bridges between business leaders across borders is what we love to do.”
Kevin Koym fielded a range of questions in English and Spanish from the delegates. How Tech Ranch fosters entrepreneurial success, the unique Austin-Texas startup ecosystem, the role of local government, securing funding for social impact projects, and ways to network internationally, were among the many issues discussed during the visit.
Austin is just one stop on a national tour of cities in the United States. The Argentinian delegation’s itinerary includes Dallas, New York and Washington.
