Kevin Koym, Founder and CEO
Kevin Koym’s influence has been felt by over 5,500 entrepreneurs from 26 countries. His continuous ability to replicate entrepreneurial success for emerging technology companies through development of training and web-based systems designed to create a local culture of success and entrepreneurship is a result of a proven community-based approach to provide the support and pragmatic agitation needed for entrepreneurs to not just accelerate their business, but disrupt their targeted markets. Kevin has a history of helping organizations adopt and develop new technology with a focus on the practices that support organizational effectiveness during times of rapid growth and change. He has led many multi-cultural teams in both hemispheres, establishing entrepreneur networks in the US and abroad while filling the roles of Founder, CEO, CTO, and VP Professional Services in seven startups along the way.
Sandeep Kumar, Business Development Partner
Sandeep Kumar has joined Tech Ranch as a partner. He is also a managing partner at IBTP, an international consulting firm. He has over 30 years of experience in building technology businesses, M&A, entering new markets, sales channel creation, business development, and new product development. He has extensive operational experience in establishing businesses in US, Israel, Japan, China, Taiwan, and India. He currently advises emerging technology companies in US, China, and Japan in MEM’s, robotics, wireless, energy, industrial, and content creation and distribution sectors. He was founder/CEO at multiple technology startups. Prior to starting his first business he was a VC and before that he was GM at Texas Instruments where he built and ran global businesses and R&D teams in Broadband Communications, DSP and MCU.
Severine Cushing, Director of Operations
Severine (Sevy) is an emerging entrepreneur with a personal mission to make a positive social impact in the world. She believes technology fueled by the passion and creativity of entrepreneurs is one of the most powerful and effective catalysts for change – she is honored to help facilitate this process for Tech Ranch. Severine brings several years of operations and project management experience in small business settings. She has a B.A. in Finance with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. A true Oregon native, she enjoys brewing snobby beer and spending time in the great outdoors with her Boston Terriers Winston and Bruce.
Felora Derakhshani, Managing Director – Tech Ranch/Middle East
Felora Derakhshani is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, executive coach, and consultant for cultivating entrepreneurial leadership and maximizing human potential. She is partnering with Tech Ranch leading the effort to launch Tech Ranch in the Middle East.
She is an electro-mechanical engineer. She has worked as a project manager and engineering manager in various nuclear instrumentation industries. She has extensive experience in starting various businesses in both for profit and not for profit sectors that included food industry, entrepreneurial leadership, women’s empowerment, and global peace building organizations. She is the founder of Crimson Woman Institute, a global platform for 360 transformative developments, leadership and entrepreneurship. She has served as the chair of many non- profit organizations including Peace Through Commerce, United Nations Association and iACT (Interfaith Action Central Texas).
Tanja Horan, Executive Director – Marketing and Program Development
As a product technology leader, Tanja has worked with organizations ranging from startups to multinationals, delivering new products, strategic projects, and global support across financial services, CPG, government entities, manufacturing, and health & wellness industries.
She has planned and managed product roadmaps for multiple companies as well as built and managed product management and international teams. During the acquisition of one SaaS company, Tanja represented the product and architecture and provided due diligence for the acquisition.
Tanja received her BA in Economics and English from Vanderbilt University and her MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Tanja has a passion for building new products and promoting and expanding STEM education.
