About the Speaker:

Sean Herrity serves as the US Business Representative of the Ministry of Economic Affairs,
Transportation, Agriculture and Viniculture of the German Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate. He
directs the Ministry’s foreign trade office in Austin, TX and advises small to medium-sized businesses
from Rhineland-Palatinate on matters related to economic development and US market entry. At the
same time, he promotes and coordinates bilateral trade and investment from the US into Rhineland-
Palatinate, Germany.

Before joining the Ministry of Rhineland-Palatinate, Mr. Herrity held executive management and
leaderships positions in Germany and the United States while working across diverse industries. His
functional expertise is in strategic business development, market entry and expansion in the US and
Germany and international sales development.

Mr. Herrity holds an MBA in International Business from Pepperdine University and the European
Business School in Oestrich-Winkel, Germany. He is fluent in English, German and Croatian.
