While we couldn’t discuss it before the fact, Tech Ranch® was lucky enough to host former President Vicente Fox of Mexico last week. While I will admit that having a head of state come to office was stressful, it was trumped by the fact that he is truly motivated to impact change. In our Training Room, there were various members of his organization, Austin area entrepreneurs and representatives from multiple groups looking to focus on social good and enterprise.
This is just the jumping off point for bridging the gap between Mexico and Texas, specifically Austin. We are happy to announce that we’ll also be having President Fox as part of our SXSW Interactive schedule – with more information coming soon…
