SUMMARY:Goals House SXSW - Innovation Without Borders
DESCRIPTION:Innovation Without Borders: How Can Global Tech Ecosystems Learn From Each Other To Solve the World’s Biggest Challenges? \n(RSVP here) \nAt the onset of the pandemic\, the global tech community – across borders\, sectors and industries – played a critical role in helping their governments\, communities and economies navigate the sudden disruption with accelerated speed and scale. Two years on\, as the world grapples with how to emerge from the definitive global crisis of the modern era\, the global tech community is once again mobilizing on the frontlines\, with solutions aimed at tackling devastating education\, health and income disparities. \n  \nBut the landscape of innovation is fundamentally changing. \n  \nWith the rise of newly established tech cities and centers\, the ecosystem map has started to see a transformative shift in the spatial geography of innovation across Africa\, Asia\, Latin America and the Middle East.   \n  \nFor the Global Goals 2030 agenda\, this expansion means cross-collaboration is essential to multiplying impact. Global tech ecosystems – the powerhouses and the emergent – can learn a lot from this experience and from each other to provide access to growth capital\, build infrastructure and develop talent.  \n  \nThis panel will explore how tech ecosystems can harness synergies and exchange ideas to create a pipeline of knowledge and funding to help scale up solutions to world’s greatest challenges. \n  \nSpeakers: \n\nYinka Adegoke\, Editor for Strategic Initiatives\, Rest of the World\nCasey Smith\, Strategic Planning Manager\, Austin Economic Development Department\nMarieme Jamme\, Co-Founder iamtheCODE\nAnil Sonil\, CEO\, WHO Foundation\nKevin Koym\, CEO\, Founder and Mentor\, TechRanch\nRSVP here
