SUMMARY:Campfire: Build Your Community
DESCRIPTION:Campfire is back.\nThis is not a networking event. \nThe number one thing we can do in difficult times is remember that we have each other. That remembering often matters more than any single action any one of us takes. Under real stress\, connection is the way through. I spent time in Sarajevo in 2025 working with entrepreneurs there\, and that city has a rich history of hardship producing deep innovation. What made it possible was how tightly people stayed connected to each other. The same holds here. \nMost ventures don’t stall for lack of a good idea. They stall for lack of the right introduction: the customer who would have said yes\, the operator who already solved this exact problem\, the partner who opens a market you can’t reach alone. \nThat’s social capital. And in situations and markets where financial capital is limited\, which is most situations\, most of the time\, social capital is the currency that actually moves a venture forward. Building it across Austin and across borders is what Tech Ranch has been doing for years. \nCampfire is where you build it on purpose. \nHow the evening works. We open together. Then we hear from entrepreneurs in the room: what they’re building and what they’re up against. Then the floor is yours. Everyone present gets the chance to build the specific network their venture needs. Not to meet people in general. To find the two or three people who change what’s possible next. \nWho should come: founders building something real\, at any stage. Longtime members of the Tech Ranch community\, and people who’ve never walked through the door. \nWhat to bring: what you’re building\, and what you need. \nSo together\, let’s meet up\, work together and connect\, build community\, build our ventures\, and change our world for the better. \nThursday\, October 29\n6:00 to 8:00 PM Central\nTech Ranch at the Austin Chamber of Commerce\, inside the Hilton downtown on Fifth Street (535 E 5th St.)\nFree to attend · Limited to 100 people\, with a waitlist \nHeads up: online map listings show the Chamber closing at 6 PM. Campfire runs from 6:00 to 8:00 PM that evening\, and doors open at 6:00 PM. \nThree ways to join. Campfire Participant is free. Campfire Follow-up Support ($25): we’ll actively help you follow up with the people you want to connect with after the event. Campfire Sponsor ($1\,000): stand up and give a one-minute overview of your company\, plus a special follow-up with the Tech Ranch team and a targeted follow-up with the whole group. \nReserve your spot and come build the relationships that can move your venture forward. \nBy registering\, you agree that a Campfire sponsor may send you one follow-up email\, sent through Tech Ranch. Your contact details are not shared with sponsors.
