Steven Ayers

Steven Ayers is president of Steven Ayers & Company, an Austin-based investment advisory firm he founded in 2002 to provide investment management services to individuals, families and related entities. Steven is an experienced and passionate investor whose business is dedicated to helping clients live better lives. Before founding his own investment advisory firm, Steve headed the research group at energy technology merchant bank Reed Global Advisors in Bellevue, Washington. Steve worked in various equity research positions for investment banks Caspian Securities, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (now Credit Suisse) and ABN Amro Asia Ltd. in New York and Hong Kong.
Steve is an MBA graduate of the Stern School of Business, New York University and a BBA graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He spent two years in Taiwan studying Mandarin Chinese and teaching English. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Austin and the New York Society of Security Analysts. In addition to his work with Tech Ranch®, Steve volunteers as a tutor and mentor at Breakthrough Austin, an organization dedicated to helping students become the first in their families to graduate from college.
